Mineroam
MINEROAM/NETWORK RULES

Network rules

Rules for players and registered servers.

These rules apply to all players and server owners using the Mineroam network.

Mineroam is an in-game Minecraft server list connecting independently operated servers. Our aim is to provide a safe, fair and enjoyable experience for everyone.

01General Behaviour

All players must:

  • Treat other players and staff with respect.
  • Not engage in bullying, harassment, discrimination or threats.
  • Avoid spamming, excessive advertising or deliberately disrupting the network.
  • Not impersonate Mineroam staff or other players.
  • Follow reasonable instructions from authorised Mineroam staff.
  • Not exploit bugs, abuse network features or attempt to interfere with Mineroam's systems.

Disagreements and friendly competition are welcome, but behaviour intended to harm or harass others is not permitted.

02Network Features

Mineroam provides features including server discovery, voting, messaging and player finding.

When using these features:

  • Do not manipulate votes, player counts or rankings using bots, alternate accounts or other unfair methods.
  • Do not use network messaging to spam, harass or repeatedly contact unwilling players.
  • Do not attempt to bypass another player's privacy settings.
  • Do not exploit network features or attempt to gain unauthorised access to Mineroam systems.

Network messages should not be considered confidential. Authorised Mineroam staff may review them for moderation and safety purposes.

03Server Listings

Server owners are welcome to register eligible Minecraft servers with Mineroam.

All registered servers must follow these requirements:

  • You must own or have permission to register the server.
  • Server names, descriptions and other listing information must be accurate and appropriate.
  • Servers must not distribute malicious software, steal player information or engage in fraudulent activity.
  • Artificially manipulating player counts, votes or rankings is prohibited.
  • Servers must not attempt to bypass Mineroam registration checks, restrictions or bans.
  • Servers must comply with applicable laws.
  • Server owners must take reasonable steps to maintain a safe and appropriately moderated community.

Mineroam may reject, suspend or remove listings that breach these requirements.

04Appropriate Content

All servers listed on Mineroam must be suitable for a general audience, including younger players.

The following content is prohibited:

  • Adult, sexually explicit or NSFW content.
  • Sexually explicit builds, images, skins or roleplay.
  • Links or advertisements directing players towards adult content.
  • Content promoting hatred, discrimination or serious violence against individuals or groups.
  • Content encouraging illegal or dangerous activities.

Adult-only and 18+ servers are not permitted on Mineroam.

Server owners are responsible for taking reasonable steps to moderate content on their servers and remove inappropriate material when identified.

Mineroam does not require every server to be specifically designed for children. However, all listed servers must maintain an appropriate standard for a general Minecraft audience.

Servers that breach these requirements may be suspended or permanently removed from Mineroam.

05Independently Operated Servers

Servers listed on Mineroam are independently owned and operated.

Each server owner is responsible for their own:

  • Server rules and moderation.
  • Staff and community management.
  • Gameplay, content and player experience.
  • Server security and technical operation.

Mineroam does not automatically endorse or guarantee the quality, safety or reliability of independently operated servers.

Players must follow the individual rules of any server they join.

However, server owners must still comply with Mineroam's Network Rules to remain listed.

Mineroam staff may take action against a listing if a server presents a serious risk to players or the wider network.

06Moderation and Enforcement

Mineroam is moderated by authorised network staff.

Depending on the circumstances, staff may:

  • Issue warnings.
  • Restrict access to network features.
  • Temporarily or permanently mute players from network-wide messaging.
  • Temporarily or permanently ban players from Mineroam.
  • Suspend or permanently remove server listings.
  • Restrict players or server owners from registering further servers.

Moderation decisions are made at the discretion of authorised Mineroam staff, taking into account the seriousness of the situation, previous behaviour and available evidence.

Staff may take immediate action where necessary to protect players or the network.

Attempts to evade restrictions or deliberately interfere with moderation decisions may result in further action.

07Network Bans

A Mineroam network ban restricts a player's access to the Mineroam lobby and applicable network-wide services.

A network ban does not automatically prevent a player from joining independently operated Minecraft servers listed on Mineroam.

Banned players may still connect directly to those servers, provided the individual server owners permit them to do so.

Similarly, a ban from an independently operated server does not automatically result in a Mineroam network ban.

Mineroam staff may independently take network-wide action if the circumstances justify it.

08Appeals

Players and server owners may request a review of a moderation decision through Mineroam's official support channels.

Appeals should explain the situation clearly and include any relevant information.

Submitting an appeal does not guarantee that a decision will be changed.

Appeals are reviewed at the discretion of authorised Mineroam staff, whose decisions are final within the network's moderation process.

Repeated, abusive or deliberately misleading appeals may be declined.

09Changes to These Rules

Mineroam may update these rules as the network develops or new issues arise.

The latest version will always be published at:

https://mineroam.com/rules/

Players and server owners are expected to follow the current rules when using Mineroam.

Additional Information

These Network Rules govern behaviour, server listings and access to Mineroam services.

They are separate from the Mineroam Link Proprietary Licence, which covers the use and distribution of the Mineroam Link plugin.

Mineroam is an independent service and is not affiliated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft.
